Stéphanie M. Ghadibalo Chinchilla-Kwak was born on a very snowy day in Corning, New York in the year 1985 and grew up in southern Virginia. She graduated with a B.A. from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio in 2007 and is currently residing in Machida, Tokyo.
